| Bob Dylan made an impact on popular music rarely equaled. Probably the
greatest lyricist of the '60s. Here's a list of just some of the
artists that have recorded at least one of his songs: Eric Clapton,
Guns & Roses, The Byrds, Jimi Hendrix and The Dave Mathews Band. This
Compilation features the following songs: "Blowin' in the Wind", "The
Times They Are A-Changing", "It Ain't Me Babe", "Mr. Tambourine Man",
"Like a Rolling Stone", "Just Like a Woman", "All Along the
Watchtower", "Lay Lady Lay", "Knockin' on Heaven's Door", "Forever
Young", and "Tangled Up in Blue". There are more, of course, with this
2 CD set. Anyone wanting to acquire a good sampling of Dylan's work
should purchase this CD. Anyone who aspires to become a songwriter or
lyricist needs to purchase at least one Dylan CD. After this
compilation (if you'd prefer to go the single CD route), I'd recommend
		  Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits (1967). |
