| Not only is Billy Joel an accomplished Pianist
with one very active left hand (which separates him from the
wannabes), he's a great songwriter and brilliant lyricist. This
compilation spans most of the Piano Man's career, with every hit
imaginable. We're talking: "Piano Man", "Captain Jack", "New York State Of Mind",
"She's Always A Woman, "Movin' Out, "Only The Good Die Young", "Just The Way You
Are", "Honesty", "My Life" and "It's Still Rock And Roll To
Me". That's just on the first disc, by the way! This is the
Billy Joel Compilation I'd recommend to anyone who doesn't own a
Billy Joel CD. As far as the original albums go (in case you
don't want to purchase a compilation CD), I would suggest The
Stranger (1977) and 52nd Street (1978) |
