| Kansas hit the big time when they released
this album and they have never had an album hit that big since.
This album features their biggest hit song "Dust in the
Wind" and the title track. But the great songs that didn't
make it to their best of collection were "Sparks of the
Tempest", "Lightning's Hand", "Helplessly
Human" and "Portrait (He Knew)". The next
album worth purchasing is The Best of Kansas (1984). That
CD contains "Carry on Wayward Son", "The
Wall", "Play the Game", as well as "Point of
No Return" and "Dust in the Wind". Kansas was a
great band that deserved much more recognition than they
received. They were just a team of extremely brilliant musicians
and great composers. The Point of No Return album is one
of classic rock's greatest albums. |
