since Pearl Jam came onto the popular music scene, aspiring
singers began to emulate the singing style of Eddie Vedder. Like
it or not, Eddie Vedder changed the way people sang. There are
so many more Eddie Vedder wannabes than can be counted. This is
Pearl Jam's first album and, I believe, their best. This album
contains most of their best hit songs. It contains "Even
Flow", "Alive", "Black" and
"Jeremy". I don't think they put out anything nearly
as good since but there are still Eddie Vedder copycats. Just
listen to Creed. |
