If you want to
try to make it as a writer, there are a number of sites
where you can go to help make that happen.
Constant-Content.com
is a site that allows you to submit articles for sale.
You name the price and see if it sells. You can always
change the asking price at any time and you could also
ask for the best offer. Just make sure you have a Paypal
account so you can receive payments.
Triond.com is another site for writers that
allows you to have articles posted on a number of
different types of websites. you get a share of the
revenues generated from the pages your articles are
posted on. Another similar site is
Bukisa.com.
There are also some websites that
accept articles and allow you to have them posted on
sites all over the Internet. You don't get paid for them
but it's a great way to get your name out there or
generate traffic to your website or promote your product. A few of them are:
EzineArticles.com,
Article-Storm.com
ArticleAlley.com and
Content4Reprint.com.
Maybe you want to just write a blog.
Blogger.com is a good place to start. it's
very user friendly and easy to set up. Most social
networking sites like
Myspace,
Facebook and our very own
Craypoe.net allow their users to
write their own blogs and create their own groups and
forums.
If you want to go the self publishing route,
CreateSpace.com allows you to create your own CD's, DVD's,
books and e-books, and allows you to sell them on Amazon.com.
They are actually a subsidiary of Amazon.
E-books
are a big money maker and traffic generator on the Net. At
www.eBookCompiler.com you
can download a free program that allows you to convert web pages into an
e-book that is an executable program. The free version only allows a
total of 10 files to be used in the e-book but the paid version offers
much more. You may want to try the free version first and then
decide if it's for you. |
