Whenever you think of comedians slapping each other around, the Three
Stooges are usually the first people to come to mind. This is a 3 DVD
set containing nineteen of their classic shorts. Most reasonable
people would agree that nobody did that form of slapstick and physical
comedy better. In fact, they say that Larry Fine actually had
calluses on his cheeks from being slapped so many times. I don't know
if that was true but I could certainly find it believable. The set
includes timeless classics like Spook Louder and All the World's a
Stooge. To sum it up: This set should serve as lessons as to how
slapstick comedy should be done. |
