| There so many times where we question God's
purposes for the things that happen in this world and the wisdom
behind them. We sometimes even get angry at God when bad
things happen to us. Jim Carrey plays the part of a
frustrated TV news reporter named Bruce Nolan who suffers through
a series of unfortunate events. Jim's character becomes
angry at God over his misfortune and God (played by Morgan
Freeman) gives him a chance to take over while he takes a short
vacation. As you can imagine, Carrey's character kind of
messes things up a bit and eventually realizes that God actually
does do a much better job at being God. This movie has a
happy ending though and God once again restores order as soon as
he returns from his vacation. |
