| Did you ever want an opportunity to live a
certain day over so that you could do things differently?
Well, in Groundhog Day, Bill Murray gets to relive a
specific day over and over again, until he finally gets it right.
Bill Murray plays a weatherman who gets snowed in during a
road-trip to Punxsutawney Pennsylvania, where he is sent to cover
the annual Groundhog Day festivities. To me, this movie
symbolizes how a person could improve himself on a daily basis and
over a period of time, even though the changes are gradual, the
difference can be significant. Bill Murray's character falls
in love with his producer (played by Andie MacDowell) and strives
to become the kind of man that would be of interest to her.
But to make a long story short: He gets the girl in the end and
there are a lot of laughs along the way. Chris Elliott also
appears in this movie, as their wise-cracking cameraman. |
