| As if the dead themselves aren't scary enough,
you now have the Evil Dead. Of course some of the people
I've met that listened to the Grateful dead were pretty scary too. This is sort of the original Blair Witch
project. Not in terms of the story line but in how it came
about. A group of young filmmakers struck out on their own
to create their first movie. They raised $375,000 from local
investors and, in the end, created a pretty good movie. If
you like gore, this should be your kind of picture. There
are a lot of scenes in this flick that feature various acts of
dismemberment and other gruesome scenarios. A few moments of
humor give the movie a special touch as well. Oh, and
if you find gory scenes and hacking up of body parts funny, then
you should find it all the more hilarious. |
