| What if life was just an illusion? Say
it aint so, say it aint so! In The Matrix it turns
out to be just that. Our lives are just a series of
artificial memories fed into our minds by a computer somewhere.
Join Neo (Keanu Reeves) as this terrible reality is
revealed to him by his new buddy Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne).
Morpheus and his team trains Neo to fight against the forces that
have thrust this artificial reality upon mankind. But they
must first get this reluctant hero to believe that he is the
chosen champion of their fight. Well, that they do and
what a fight it is. The computer generated effects aid
significantly in the film to create a special effects epic.
It has been reported by some that the sequels to this film lack
the luster of the first, as is the case with most sequels.
Who cares? Even if that were to be true, it still doesn't
take away from the greatness of the first film! |
