| This movie gives the term "Hey, what's eating
you?" a whole new meaning. This is a film that stands
out over most other disaster movies for two reasons: It's based on
a true story and it depicts how the will to survive can overcome
inconceivable odds. It's about a Uruguayan rugby squad and
some family members whose plane crashed into the Andes in 1972.
In order to survive, they had to eat some of the dead. This
is a very realistic portrayal of a horrible experience. It
keeps you on the edge of your seat and has you rooting for them as
they struggle in the face of the odds. |
