| What's Soylent Green you ask? Well it's
food, silly! But its ingredients are a secret for the
secretive to know and Charlton Heston to find out. Set in
2022, Soylent Green Features Charlton Heston as a Manhattan
cop who, in the end, makes the terrible discovery. This
movie came out after Heston had already starred in a couple of
successful Sci-Fi pics. Namely Planet of the Apes
(1968) and Omega Man (1971). This movie
features many pleasant topics such as: Overcrowding, pollution,
and the depletion of the Earth's food supply and other vital
resources. If you hate crowds, you'll hate this movie,
because talk about over-population! |
