| Nothing like risking the lives of
an entire unit to look for a private who is to be sent home
because he is a family's only surviving son. But it makes
for an awesome story, a great movie and a number of Academy
Awards. So who are we to question Hollywood's wisdom?
The battle scenes are phenomenal. Very realistic. They
really show the intensity and the horrors of the D-Day invasion.
I feel this film will always be considered a classic war movie. |
