| The Deer hunter won the Academy Award for best
picture and deservedly so. The movie follows three steel
worker friends who go to Vietnam. My favorite scene in this movie is when
the three amigos escape from their Vietcong captors. They
are forced to play Russian Roulette but just when you think Robert
De Niro is going to blow his own brains out, he lets loose on his
captors and escapes. Great movie
with a cast of great actors. We're talking: Christopher Walken, Meryl Streep
and the aforementioned Robert De Niro. Sad ending, but I won't ruin the surprise by telling
you more. Oh yeah, Christopher Walken got Best Supporting
actor for his part in the movie. |
